Antonio Murado (Lugo, Spain, 1964) lives and works in New York.
In 1988 he undertook a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He won several awards, such as the “22 Premio Bancaixa”, Valencia (1995), “Premio Julian Trincado”, Ayuntamiento de A Coruña (1995) and the first prize at “V Premio de Pintura L´Orèal”, Barcelona (1989). He tooks part in the “IV Bienal Martinez Guerriquiabeitia”, Valencia (1996), “IV Bienal de Pintura Ciudad de Pamplona”, Pamplona (1993), “II Bienal de Artes Plásticas Cultural Rioja”, Logroño, Spain (1990), “Bienal de Barcelona-La Caixa”, Barcelona (1990) and “III Bienal de Pintura de Murcia”, Spain (1989).
