Rodrigo Oliveira

Rodrigo Oliveira (Sintra, 1978) lives and works in Lisbon. He has a master degree from the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, a degree from the Fine Arts University in Lisbon, an independent program of studies of the Maumaus School of Visual Arts and also a scholarship from the Fundation Botin in Santander, Spain. He has been exhibiting regularly both nationally and internationally since 2003 and is represented in several public, private and institutional collections in Portugal and other countries. 

The highlights of his exhibitions are: Utopia /Distopia Part II _ MAAT Museu, Lisbon (2017); De lá Ville à lá Villa - Chandigarh Revisited, Le Corbusier Villa Savoye Poissy, Paris (2016); Utopia At Plateau And An Indian Brasília, Filomena Soares Gallery, Lisbon (2016); Projecto Parede (2013), MAM – Modern Art Museum of São Paulo, Brazil; Coisas de Valor e o Valor das Coisas (2011), Cosmocopa – Contemporary Art, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; A primeira pedra (e todas as outras mais) (2011), Chiado Museum, Lisbon; e Utopia na casa de cada um (2009), Visual Arts Center, Coimbra, ResPública 1910 – 2010 face a face (2010), Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon; A Culpa Não É Minha (2010), Berardo Museum, Lisbon; Where are you From?
